I live in sunny Southern California and there is cart selling fresh picked strawberries about a block from my condo. Let me tell you sisters and brothers that these strawberries could win awards.
But beware Phase 2-ers... Once you start with the chocolate strawberries, it's super hard to stop. I have to cut them out completly because I was out of control. (Didn't help that I watched the TV food network all weekend and it was all chocolate all day) |

| Load up on those strawberries and freeze 'em. Use them for other things and not chocolate. I love 'em, too! I made a yummy smoothie last night with frozen strawberries, plain yogurt, skim milk, and SF DaVinci white chocolate syrup. Wow! |

Thanks for your responses, although our weather is pretty soggy this year! But the berries would tell you different!
PS: I came to my senses and cut the strawberries up to keep them from being dippable. And as for the chocolate? Well, I finished that up on the Great Berry Binge day. I think I'll stick to the S/F pudding and Jell-O. But I WILL NOT GIVE UP MY FRENCH VANILLA COOL WHIP! |
