| I currently have classes until around 9-10 on Tuesdays/Thursday, and until this week, I was coming home and eating. Well, since I was a little naughty on V-day, I have decided to try and eat a little bit before I leave work and not eat later in the evening on those days. I hate eating so late, so last night I did not eat after 5 and I must say it was not easy at all. I am sure others are in my same position. Does anyone have tips on what to do? |

Hi,
I also have school after work on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I will usually bring along a small "dinner" to eat before I go, and then grab a snack when I get home. Sort of like dividing my dinner in half, eating part before I go to school and part when I get home.
It is a major hassle to drag lunch and dinner to work twice a week, but it's cheaper than buying one or both and I could not survive with no food between my afternoon snack and 10pm when I get home. I also don't think it would be very good for your metabolism or keeping with SB principles to go that long without food.[/i] |

Well, I tend to make my evening meal light, and I don't worry if my meal is late. I tend to avoid grains/starches at my evening meal and eat my grains earlier in the day. This is one thing that makes it lighter, plus I don't overeat either.
I don't know if this helps. I do think you should still make sure to eat something every 3 hours - eat both before and after work in the evenings?
