I have a question... I just bought whole wheat pita's and was wondering.....do you all eat the whole pita or just cut it in half??
thanks. |

| Depends on the size! I usually buy big pita's (~8"), but then I cut them in half counting each half as a serving. Seems to work out best for me that way...that's enough to hold my tuna and lettuce when I really want a sandwich. |

| I cut the larger ones in half also. Works great, and is still enough to fill you up, plus you get more use that way, and save some money. |

| A serving of grain (bread) typically is 1 ounce, so check out the weight of the package and # of pitas inside (many packages say "serving size - 1 pita" even though it's HUGE). |
