Well, I fell off the wagon yesterday-and today i feel as if i have a serious hang-over. I couldn't resist the heart shaped brownies and the apple crisp with 98% fat free ice cream
I can completely feel the affects of the sugar in my system, I'm grogy..so much pressure on my head and i feel gittery. I'm telling you it feel like i've had one too many shots-anyone else ever get like this?
This is definitly my incentive to give up the bad stuff..i hate feeling like this. I'm totaly back on board now, as a matter of fact, I'm thinking of going back to phase 1. I'd been on phase 2 for about 3 weeks with no weight loss-i was doing ok-but i know i was eating too many nuts and cheese. While it's SB friendly...I know moderation is the key. so, back to phase 1 today for me..just to make sure the cravings are under control.
sorry for the book-I was venting this morning |

Congratulations on taking a big step toward undestanding your body! I know you feel crummy now, but I wonder if before SBD you would have noticed the direct affect sugar had on your system. I know for a fact that I wouldn't have!
I had a similar experience caused by overindulging in sugarless candy. OMG, I had to go out to dinner for my mother in law's birthday. I had such a terrible stomach ache I almost couldn't sit up at the table.
Oh well, live and learn I say. Good luck from here on out!

thanks sherry, you are absolutly correct-before SB I would never have noticed the change..shoot, b4 SB, there would have been no change. it would have been a normal day of packing on the pounds.
thanks for the well wishes...and good luck to you also on your journey |

| I wish overindulging on sweets and carbs would affect me like that, but they don't. Right now I am vacationing in Florida and eating everthing in sight and I feel great. Hubby gave my sister and me a box of chocolate candy and we both dove into it, although she is on Core and I am on SB. Tonight we are going to an Italian restaurant and I know I will order pasta. At least I will be going home tomorrow so I can get back on the wagon. I wonder what my ticker will look like tomorrow. Maybe this will kick start my losing again. |

| I had that just a few days ago. I decided I'd go out for a friends birthday and it would be okay to have a rum and diet. Well. . . one turned into 3, then I went to the local rootbeer stand that is open 24 hours and decided "one last time wouldn't hurt". . . I proceded to eat some home fries, eggs, white toast and bacon. Then I decided (since it used to be my favorite thing to get) that I'd get a peanutbuttercup milkshake. After I had all that I decided (I don't know how) that I was still hungery, so I got an order of biscuits and gravy. I'm not sure that I've ever felt so sick in my life when I woke up the next day. I spent the whole rest of the day wishing I'd drank more so I could have gotten sick the night before and gotten rid of what I ate before it had a lot of time to go through. . . so yeah, I had that the other day, and it's not cool. |

Last week for the first time since last March I had a small Blizzard with smarties (like m&m's). This was my ULTIMATE dessert pre-SBD, and I figured since I have been holding at my weight for 2 months I could give it a go.
You know what? It didn't taste even half as good as I remembered and I felt sick for the next two days. YUCK!
Well, at least I won't be craving Dairy Queen ever again... |
