| Will Kix Cereal ever be ok to have ? it has 2 sugars in it and i think 24 carbs. Like to have once in a while? |

The sugar is OK BUT most important is how much FIBER it has.
The guideline is >8 g of fiber and <8 g of sugar per serving. |

| It's not a whole grain and it is a corn grain which is much higher on the GI scale. Please check out Kimboroni's FAQ at a minimum. You can find a link in my sig file. There is all kinds of good info including lists of allowed cereals and up to date foods to enjoy and foods to avoid lists. No offense intended, but it doesn't sound like you have a good understanding of how and why this program works. It is not so much a mechanical eat these things and don't eat those things. It is a learning process of how to eat healthily for the rest of your life. You really need to understand the hows and whys, not just the food lists. |
