Hey Pooky bear
I just thought id let you know ive done the three day diet a couple of times and it definately works.. but boy do you get hungry, but full very quickly after the meals, especially the dinners (struggled to get down so many veggies!!!) , emotional and weak. I also found that i was so starving by the end of it and wanting to break free from a rigid set eating plan i went mad the day after every diet and piled all the weight back on +extra.
But its not all bad, it worked for the time that i needed it to. This sounds terrible but i would it before a big event like when i had to wear a slinky evening dress for example. It certainly works and boosts your confidence when it does and if you can stick to a good eating plan straight after it (working up from similar portions to the ones in the three day diet then your on a roll)!!
Good Luck!! Hope i helped a little! Let us know how it goes.
P.S- i enjoyed the sausages?? didnt make me sick at all? You get so hungry anything tastes amazing  :) |

Hi ShellBell!
Thanks for sharing your experiences! Yeah, I ended up losing a couple lbs. through it, but it's not very healthy for ya. ;) Then a few days later, I start on the SBD via the Queen of South Beach Challenge II. It's been 4 weeks and I've lost 4 more lbs. - so a total of 6! I'd rather lose it slowly and healthily (is that a word?!) so that will stay off PERMANENTLY! ;) So far, so good!
Are you on the Beach? Or researching different diets or something? |

Hey pookie bear,
Yes i am on SB beach on the moment, on day 9 and feeling great! I was just looking into other diet for interest sake.. WW in particular.. which i was thinkin of changing to because i hve a terrible sweet tooth ... and they make south beach cookies!!!! and desserts!!! but i konw this would be leway to overeat/binge and i have to accept this. SB is also the best for my body type and gives me stax of energy!
WOW! you have been doing well! lost all that and youve only been on it for what 14 days was it congrads! Saw your wedding pic on the before and after (correct me if im wrong?!) ..and you must be a 'little loser' cause you looking great already!!

SB is definately a healthy way to live, that's for sure! Kudos to you in starting up and doing great on your 9th day!!!! The first 2 weeks are the hardest, IMO (well, the first week, actually). If you can make it past that, you're good as gold!
I did SBD back in Jan. '04, lost the weight on wanted by March and then got off it again and gained a bunch of weight back plus more! Now, I start the end of Feb of '05.... lost 6 lbs. and still going strong being consistant and enjoying this WOE. ;) I don't really care how fast I lost now (because I only have a few more lbs. until I'm down to MY ideal ;)) but I know slow and steady will win the race!!! :D
Thanks for seeing my pics and the compliments!!!! How are you doing today? |

| I read that coffee was part of breakfast, and someone said on here that you have to stick by everything they list, so do I have to have coffee? I hate coffee! |

| My mom tried the 3 day diet... she said she gained weight on it. Apparently doctors give their overweight patients who are in serious risk of heart-failure this diet to help them lose weight quickly... or something |

Hi :)
I think I lost about 3 pounds. :? Did it work for me? Sure. But I was STARVING and just went right onto the SBD from there. I've been very successful on that (read my signature). And I'm still exercising and eating well. I've kept it up for several months now and will continue indefinately.
I don't recomment the 3 Day Diet after doing it. But, in all honesty - It's only 3 days! What's more important is what you do AFTER the 3 days are over. ;) |

Thanks pookie bear.. i am in the 1st week of P1.. doing it the second time..
Started with 153 lost 11.. got of track.. was back to 144.5 and now back to 140...
still have one more week to go... but i am just sooo impatient... I absolutely love SBD, but i want to be 125 by end of oct since i am visiting my parents in india for two months.. and i know i am going to be eating absolutely anything in those two months..
but again i don't want to gain weight coz i have three weddings to attend at the end of 2 months...
do u have any magic tricks for eating everything and maintaining weight... i mean exercise.. will it work??? |
