Has anybody stayed on SB P1 for more than 2 weeks? I know it's not really recommended, but I didn't have a lot to lose and 5 more pounds would make me pretty happy. I've been stuck for the last 5 days of P1. I tried adding just one thing a day from P2 without upping my calories (I track on FitDay.com) and every week I still add a little more to my workout, but nothing's changing. I think I could do one more week of P1, though, if anybody thinks it would really help. I haven't been overly hungry on it, and my energy seems okay considering the insomnia I've had lately.

The odds are if you stayed on P1 another week you'd see the same results, no loss. You need to start adding grains and fruits in to restart the weight loss. There are people who do it, but I would not reccomend doing it, esp in your situation with very little to lose. I doubt you'd see much of a weight loss remaining on P1

I completely agree with darlene... you've only got 5 lbs to lose til goal. You're not going to see that on Phase 1. You need your healthy grains and fruits back in your diet.
Even people who start Phase 1 very overweight stall out and don't see another loss until they're into Phase 2. |

Thanks. Glad to hear it. I really didn't want to give up my P2 foods, anyway. The first day on P2 I had a small Gala apple with a wegde of Laughing Cow cheese stuffed in it. No dessert has ever tasted as good as that apple did! And believe it or not, I'm dying for a bowl of oatmeal! [/i]

As a person who's never been nuts over apples, I've also started eating the Gala apples lately. Although I got a few sour ones this week, mostly they are so sweet, I couldn't believe how great they were. Who knew they'd go so well with natural peanut butter? And also, my body has let me know that those apples were a necessity, too for digestive purposes.
