Hi Gang!

I stayed off the scales for the WHOLE week, and I didn't drive myself crazy watching my weight fluctuate! Definitely the way to weigh in!!

I lost 5 lbs this week!! I'm starting PH2 today, so I officially lost 10 lbs on PH1 - and it feels awesome! My plan is to SLOWLY add those good carbs back into the diet; we'll see how successful I was at next week's Wednesday weigh-in.

Well done AmyW!

I lost 3 lbs. this week. :D Yahoo!! I stayed the course and stuck to SBD all week ... even on the weekend.

This was my first week on Phase II and I am doing as you said you are planning AmyW, adding one item per week. This week I added 1 fruit per day so starting tomorrow I'll bump that up to 2. I'll tell you grapefruit never tasted so good.

Good luck everybody ... we'll be seeing less of all of you next week!

Is this the forum that we will weigh in? They changed it so I was confused. Anyway, I lost 2 lbs this week. Better than going up but I did mess up on Saturday. Good luck everyone. I did cheat and weigh during the week. But it is frusterating because we fluctuate so much. I will try hard not to this week!

I am day 10 phase 1:
I wasn't going to measure or weigh myself until the end of phase 1, I did and Ugh!!!! So frustrating, I didn't lose any inches or any weight. We'll see what happens at the end of phase 1. I believe there is light at the end of the tunnel...................... :( :D
Has anyone else had this happen with no weight loss or inches gone?
Congratulations and way to go for all of you who have lost :D

HI all!!
Sounds like you all had a great week. I lost only 2.5 pounds. I have one more day on P1 then I move to P2. I am seriously considering starting P1 over and being a little more strict with the portions. Maybe I have had too much fat free cheese? I also have been drinking red wine in lieu of my dessert. I'm not sure if your not supposed to have it because it slows down weight loss,or if it is supposed to make you hungry. It has NOT made me hungry. I have been full.
I don't know what I did total, as I did not weigh myself to start off. (I was scared). I do know my shirts are getting a bit looser.
Has anyone else had a really slow start on the first two weeks? I see everyone lost like 10 pounds or so. If they did have a slow start I am wondering if going into P2 kicked it into gear...or slowed you down more???
I know I shouldn't have been drinking the wine, but I went from drinking TONS of beer everyday, and I didn't want to just stop cold turkey, so I figured I would give up the evening dessert and just drink the red wine (which is good for you).
Any thoughts.....comments?
Need advise on P2 which will be Friday if I decided to go ahead.

Today is day 10 of phase 1. I am down exactly 10 pounds as of today! I am so excited!!! I have been very strictly abiding by this diet, along with walking 30 minutes a day on my lunch hour and doing cardio three times a week! I am so happy to finally find something that works!

I don't know, this is like the third wednesday weigh in thread I've run across this morning. We have a long standing P2 weekly weigh-in thread that I just asked Babice to move into the P2 discussion area. I'd recommend that if you want to have a regular place for P1 folks to post their Wed. results, then create one in the P1 forum titled something like the Unofficial/Official Wedenesday Weigh-In Thread or whatever you want to call it to catch peoples' eyes and encourage others to use it. Just an idea.. Keep up the good work people!! And don't stay in P1 unnecessarily!

AmyW, since you started this thread, you are the only one who can edit the title from your Edit button on your thread. If you can get Babice who is really very sweet and helpful to move this one to the P1 area, you can just change the name and keep this thread as is, just in the other forum. I think it fits better in there than here actually. Just send her a PM and make the request. Her name is at the top of any forum along with the other moderators. Click on it and you go to her public profile and there is a little button on the left with "PM" on it and you can click on that and send her a private message with your request. Don't you just love the way I appointed you!! LOL!! No pressure, you don't have to do anything. Just trying to help you organize things better. Not really a big deal one way or the other, but it does get a bit confusing to have multiple threads for the same purpose in multiple forums.

Redroxco ... I'm not fussy where I log in my Wednesday weigh in. This is the third Wednesday weigh in on this forum so I just assumed this is where we should be ... This is for "experience, success stories, results, etc.". If we should be in Phase II forum (I'm no longer in Phase I) let us know.

I'm not fussy either. Well maybe a little... ;) It doesn't affect me one way or another. But for those who post in them, they might like to see how others are doing at the same time. When there are multiple posts with the same basic topic, you may miss out on some info, or in this case results, that you might have found interesting.

If you go into the P2 forum, there is a P2 Weekly weigh-in thread that is like 23 pages long now! (Kind of funny because the person who started it didn't like the old weekly weigh-in thread because it had too many pages, 7!!). Everyone has different weigh in days and kind of keeps a log in their posts of their progress. Some are long and some are short. Some provide commentary and some don't. Anyone can add to it at any time. It is not an invitation only kind of thing! Feel free to jump into that one or keep adding to others! As the Germans say, Machs Nichs!

OK, So I had a really hard week so this is even harder to post than ever. I had lost 11.5 lbs. as of last week and this week I gained 4 lbs. Granted I know I cheated A lot and it's my favorite time of the month but boy am I bummed. I really ahve done well excercising. But in the evening after my son is asleep I get this uncontrolable sweet tooth. Well it's a new week and no weighing or cheating until next wednesday.

Well it's now Thursday and i didn't post my weight yesterday b/c i was ashamed of my falling out this weekend but I decided the only way I'm going to do this is to except what I did and move on. My scale went up instead of down. So I am now at 5llbs lost.

I got confused with the different Wed. weigh in threads, but think I have it straight, AmyW, and will watch for your post next Wed. I did lose 2 pounds this week and feel good about it. I would always like to lose a bunch at a time, but know I was out of town and my food wasn't perfect. I am glad that I stayed as close as I could to the foods on this WOE. I will look harder next week to find this thread. Have a good week, all! :)

Sorry to confuse everyone with the Wednesday Weigh-In thread on this board - I got confused myself!! I'll see if I can get this thread moved to the Phase 1 board.

Phase 2 does have a Wednesday Weigh-In as well, so we'll be helping all Phases sound off! Keep up the good work, everyone!!
