On my second week of Phase I - so far so good - lost 4 lbs at end of week one - I only weight myself once a week (Sunday Morning).
What are the guidelines for coffee in phase I - regular that is (I don't want decaf) - I am drinking it black and no sugar about 2 to 3 cups a day. Is that ok? |

| Should be fine! Many of us don't give up our caffeine! Dr. A's primary concern with caffeine is that it can cause hunger cravings in some people and if you find it makes you hungry afterwards, then you should probably try to cut back or avoid it. But otherwise, it is OK. Just drink enough water during the day to stay well hydrated as well though! It is still a diuretic! |

I agree with Redroxo. I did limit my coffee intake on P1 but haven't limited my caffeine intake at all since entering P2. Doesn't appear to have affected my weight loss or my cravings at all.
That being said, if you want to reduce the amount of caffeine, you might try half-decaf. |
