| Are you suppose to feel full all the time? I'm on day three of the diet and I just don't want the snacks I'm not hungary at all. The breakfast, lunch, and dinner is just right for me. Can I skip the snacks, unless of course I want one, as long as I don't gorge myself at lunch or dinner? And what do you drink, just water, been drinking A LOT of that. |

| Great--you're supposed to feel full and satisfied. The purpose of the snacks is to keep your blood sugar level so you don't feel overly hungry and stuff yourself at your next meal. It helps keep your metabolism going also, so they do recommend you eat your snacks. |

| Today is my last day of Phase 1, and I felt full most of the time too. Just be careful...I screwed up and cheated once, and afterwards my cravings for sweets came back the next day :( Making cookies for your family while dieting isn't always the best thing to do, I've found out :P LOL |

| I am on P2 and have to remind myself to eat something. I don't feel hungry at all. So for my snacks I just have a nibble of 1/2 cheese stick or a diet soda. Since I used to eat all the time and now I don't want to eat. I like not wanting to eat, but I sometimes feel guilty and that I am doing something bad. But I eat the cheese and go run after the kids. |

I too am feeling full most of the time and I am loving it. It sure helps get past those temptations because I can definitely feel that I am not hungry, that I am experiencing emotional cravings. I have been on p1 for only 5 days and have already lost 6 pounds. :D I am so excited!
I teach water aerobics three times a week and I have a participant who has lost 70 pounds over the past year and another who has lost 30 since September. These two finally made me realize that I needed to research the sbd. After reading about it, I decided that I needed to try. I need to lose at least 70 pounds.
I'm glad I found this site. This is the support group I can definitely use. THANKS!! |

On day 9 of P1 and also have had difficulty eating all the foods recommended in the SB book for the first 2 weeks. Last night I couldn't even eat dinner due to lack of appetite but had a mozzarella stick as an evening snack.
What do you recommend if I want to stick with the recipes and meals in the book as much as possible, but not feel so full all the time?
I want to keep a good balance of the good carbs, fats and proteins but am not sure exactly what is recommended. |

| There is no requirement to follow the recipes and/or meals in the book. Please check out Kimboroni's FAQ pages if you haven't already done so. They include links to both updated food lists and a generalized menu template. You can use the menu template in particular to get a better feel for how to structure your own menus and see what is generally recommended. The updated food lists also give some limits on quantities on things that tend to be limited. |
