My friend is doing South Beach and she bought some sugar free pudding. Is this ok for her to eat in Phase 1?

It is recommended that you wait until P2 for the pudding. SF jello is fine for P1 as is the No Sugar Added fudgesicles. It is the added corn starch in the pudding that you are better off avoiding until P2.

Try the mocha ricotta that is in the book ( I didn't add the espresso ). It tastes like a cannoli without the crust!!!

Yep, that's the same as the one mentioned by the original poster and contains corn starch... save it for phase 2 :D
Go for the sf jello and nsa fudgsicles mentioned by redroxco! |

PurpleGuitar - Cannoli? Really? I love cannoli, but I have a real tough time with the riccota texture.

Thanks sleepybear! I didnt think that was the same stuff as the first gal was talking about. But how can it be sugar free if it has corn starch? I dont like sweets much anyway.... or i would have already made it. I've been snacking on nuts and cheese.

abbadabba: If you don't like the ricotta texture try putting it in a blender or whipping it with a hand mixer. It will make it smoother and much easier for you to eat.

I added in a tablespoon of the all natural peanut butter and a few slivered almonds....it was delicious....almost like a peanut butter mousse or cheesecake...
