Hi everyone. I'm doing the SBD for the 2nd time. The first time I only lasted 2 days because I felt I couldn't give up my soda. Now after the birth of my 3rd child I am determined to stick to it. I am on day 11 of Phase 1 and have lost 7 lbs so far. I am so glad to have found this board. I need all of the encouragement I can get. I started out at 220, I'm at 213 and my LONG term goal is 150!

A lot of people stuggle with soda. Can you switch to diet? I saw a news story about soda: the chemicals in it and what it does to your body, around 10 years ago and quit cold turkey. I will occasionally (when I have a sore throat) have a diet ginger ale... but nothing else.. not even tempted. Of course, I still love my coffee, but have cut back to a cup a day... so I can sympathise!

With all the water I am drinking, I don't think I would have room for a soda!!

Welcome back! And good luck! I had a friend that did VERY well on this diet losing baby fat! :D
