I am on my 7day of P1, i have kinda sorta read the book, but there is so many questions i have.
for ex. portions, GI's, milk, P2
For some reason it just is not very clear to me. maybe b/c after so many diets it's a blurr. Although i have lost 6 pounds.
Please HELP me clear all of the confusion.[/b] |

| Sit down and look at the book again if you can. It gets less confusing the second and third time you read it :wink: You can have milk from the start now and it is limited to skim or 1% and 2 cups per day. That is a change from the original book. There is a lists of the Glycemic index on this forum you can look at. Most things do not have a portion listed except the nuts, startches, and fruit. I tend to look at the packaging for serving size-- Like tricuits or whatever and consider one serving one startch for the day. Most of the other foods can be enjoyed in "moderation" meaning what would be considered a serving size and eating til you are full and not stuffed. Hope this helps some. |

Updated food lists, meal templates for putting together menu plans with suggested portion sizes, and lots of other good info that might help clear up some of your confusion.
