It is so hard to find a recipe or to make sure there is no duplicate without spending a lot of time.
How about a recipe area where recipes can be posted, searches done and rated by members?
As much as recipe-lover here tries to organize everything you still have to spend a ton of time trying to find something or review everyone's tweaks or suggestions. |

I agree with you! I don't hardly ever go in there becuase it's too hard to find anything. I've been on other diet forums (not SBD) that would have a forum called "Food and Recipes". Then once you enter that forum, there are a bunch of "sub-forums" such as: Beef, Chicken, Seafood, Veggies, Soup and Salad, Desserts, etc....you get the picture.
Is that what you're talking about? I'd LOVE to see something like that here. I think it'd be SO much easier to post recipes and to FIND them too!
Why don't you send an e-mail and/or PM to Admin? That's what I did to get the Phase 1 and Phase 2 forums added! It took him awhile, but he added them! :D |

| I have to agree with pierce894 that it would be nice to have subcatagories. I also find that trying to search for anything on this website is a real pain....... I would just love to go to a folder a get the recipes and not scroll around to see what everyone else might think about the recipe & they havn't tried it. Just my thought! |

Great idea, I have just been trying to keep up with the recipes and posting them into a spreadsheet, would be nice to have someone else do the organizing. Hope the admins agree.

| This is such an awesome site, the only thing that is keeping it form being perfect is an easily searched recipe area. Doing a serach now for a recipes isn't very useful. If this site had something like that, I wouldn't have to ty to convert recipes I am current;y finding on other sites. |

| Great news! I spoke with the Administrator a few days ago (referred him to this thread), and he said he was currently working on a new recipe section! He didn't say how long it would take....but at least we know it's coming! I can't wait to see what he does. :D |
