I have already been down phase one road before, and I have actually already lost 40 lbs and then stalled. So, I cheated out of frustration over the holidays I cheated a little here and there with no weight gain or loss and decided to go back to Phase One again. Well, I'm almost to my second week and feel GREAT! The thing is that I have been exercising like a fiend with at least an hour or more 4-6 times a week, and I KNOW my body was going through huge changes. I was to the point where Iwas considering throwing in pilates too! Well, last week because college classes started up again I've been exercising less and finally I've seen the stall break! YEA! So, I don't know if we should exercise as much in the first phase because that builds muscle and you are not going to lose as much.

Can someone help me with this? I was thinking about doing my hour or so of cardio today with a little bit of weights and crunches, but I don't want to gain more muscle because of it.

Also, I put on my jeans that I bought after my first time around and they are all baggy and fall down my tummy now like my other pair I bought along with them. It made me smile just to have that happen.

Should we start really exercising right like I was before or wait until the second phase begins? :)

I think I would definitely continue exercising because muscle burns more than fat and when you are losing weight, you want to keep that muscle. It keeps your metabolism going. It's also good because if you cheat, you aren't going to gain a lot back because your metabolism will be pretty high. That's just my opinion.
This week has been a tough week for me. I weighed 131.2 pounds on Monday-Wednesday, then I cheated BIG time on Thursday (Chick-fila, fries, tootsie rolls, cereal, cookies) you name it, I ate it. I'd say I had a carb binge. Well, to my horror, I jumped up to 134 and I have only lost one pound since then. I've started exercising more though. That helps a lot.

I have exercised my whole life but don't have too much muscle, so that shouldn't be a worry. I've worked up to 10 miles on my exercise bike, along with doing one or two videos a day. They include weight training, cardio, and toning.
