I am new to SB. This is day 3 for me. The first night I couldn't sleep--felt very nervous. Yesterday I felt weak, nervous and hungry. Today much the same. Don't know if I should stick this out, eat a few sugars, go to phase II or what. It almost seems like a hypoglycemic reaction.
I am pretty healthy, have no blood sugar issues (as far as I know) and only need to lose 7-8 pounds and change some bad eating habits.
HELP! don't know what to do. |

Can you post some of your daily menu's? So we can see what youve been eating. have you been eating enough? have you been encorporating enough protien, beans etc in your diet?
I know for the first few days I felt a little strange, mostly because my body was adjusting and purging some bad stuff....after about day 5 I had never felt better in my life! |

I am on day 6 now, but I wanted to quit before day 4. I was tired, cranky, and getting headaches. Stick it out...I have already lost 5 lbs. I only want to lose 10-13, and improve my eating habits also.
You really do feel better after day 4. I bought some sugar free choc. covered peanuts..prob not supposed to have them on P1, but they tasted great and gave me the laxative effect I was hoping for. Sounds weird, huh? |

I would deff be adding more to your breakfasts- you did say you realise one egg is not enough....but add some vegies into your morning, the only morning I see with vegies was tomatoes- maybe add a little cheese to get some more protien. I dont know about everyone else, but PB on its own isnt much of a snack- to me it seems you need to be eating a little more in the mornings, maybe thats why miday is better cause your eating more?
Either way most people seem to get past this on day 4 or 5, hang in there! Its worth it! |

| Your breakfast is really lacking. You need veggies or v8 juice and meat. As for your symptoms--there are dozens of threads about this being normal. Do not eat sugar or any unapproved foods. It will pass soon. |

Thanks all for your responses. I started to feel better last night. Had a bigger breakfast today.
Have another question (thank you for your patience)
Why is cream cheese not okay and cream cheese substitue--which most have added sugar okay on SB?
Also, how much V8 can I drink?
Thanks all! |

A little bit of certain kinds of cream cheese is okay now-- check out the updated food list in my FAQ for details.
V8 can be 6-8 oz with breakfast instead of or in addition to your veggies. |
