Eek. So, monday through friday went great. Lost close to four pounds! Went to the gym, and worked out hard. BUT....friday night rolls around. Dinner time...What do I eat?! Pad Thai Noodles and some chocolate. Acutally, "some" is an understatement. ALOT. I don't know what happened...I was doing so well, and I just gave in. Any advice on how to beat the weekend blues?
Thanks.... |

I am SO with you on the whole "weekends are the hardest" thing! I think when I'm at work, I'm busy and focused on the diet because of fellow SB officemates, BUT when I'm home on the weekend and bored, I want to EAT! I've successfully made it through 2 weekends now on SB, and I've basically been trying to control my eating by making sure to eat something SB-friendly every 3-hours.
For those times when I feel the need to "cheat," I use SB-friendly cheats, like cottage cheese/splenda/cinnamon (it's REALLY good), a SF fudgecicle (it's pretty good), or LF ricotta cheese/splenda/vanilla (REALLY good). All of these foods make me feel like I'm eating something sweet and delicious. I tried the SB brownies made with black beans....the consistency was suprisingly good....the taste was NOT!
I'm 4 days away from PH2, and I'm looking forward to the switch! I really want a low carb wheat wrap.....
Stay strong - we can do it! Just because you fell off the SB wagon doesn't mean you can't get right back on it!!! Do it for your health and yourself!

| I'm with you both -- I'm on day 13 of phase 1 (so this is my second weekend on SB), and I DEFINITELY find weekends much harder. I think it's because there's not really much of a routine; my days at work are so structured and I know exactly what time I like to eat, and I prepare for the day ahead so that I get everything in. Weekends are much less structured, and there seems to be so much more EMPTY TIME! Made it through last weekend okay (though I owe my sanity to sugar-free gum!) and know I'll make it through this one as well, but still......I commiserate on how hard it is! Soooooooo looking forward to starting phase 2 on Monday! |
