Begining Phase 1

Hi, My name is Coni and I am on day 2 of phase 1. I am doing good with everything with just a few exceptions. One thing is that when I went to bed last night my stomache started growling. I had eaten dinner until I was full and then ate sugar free jello for desert. When I was not eating correctly this never happened so I was a bit confused. another thing I am going through is having to use the bathroom alot. I am drinking water and crystal lite and it is going right through me and becoming rather annoying. But I know that this soon will pass. I am not having any cravings for anything and I am eating very well. One thing that I thought of to do to make things easier for me was to cook skinless chicken breasts and pork tenderloin on the grill sunday for the entire week. This makes it easier for me to stay on the diet because I do not have to cook every night! Anyway, just thought I would introduce myself, I think this forum will do me some good. One more problem I have been having is that my face is tingly, anyone else feel this in the first few days?

I like it! My husband isn't doing it with me, he is cutting back and he lifts weights every morning. He measures every morning and I weigh in. Then we compare, lol. I had started eating only fruits and veggies the week before, except our dinner meal. I had lost 4 pounds that week.
I have lost 7 pounds these last 4 days. I really like it. I eat every 2 hours.
I am never hungry. I wear a watch that beeps every hour, and I try to drink a cup of water at that time, to keep from dehydrating. I am taking vitamins like I am supposed to. So I have no complaints.
I want to wish all of you success. I hope we all hang in there and see this though.

hey all!
I'm on day 4 of phase one...it's going quite well. Haven't got around to weighing myself yet. I guess I'm just scared of no loss! I'm going to university right now, but living off-campus. It's nice because I can just cook for myself...HOWEVER, it is terribly difficult to live with 4 other ladies who eat pizza and bagels for dinner and look amazing! But I know that this will pay off! I made myself a huge batch of taco meat with kidney beans, so that should keep me full through the weekend...yay for taco salads!

I found I needed a snack at night, even though it's not really included in the menu plans. I didn't have a chance to have a snack between breakfast and lunch, so I carried it over to post-dinner. You might try that. It is hard to go to sleep hungry.

Done? :? Do you plan on making the beach your way of life? Or going back to your old habits after you've reached your goal?

Was your stomach growling or just making noise? Many folks not their tummy's make a lot of noise in phase 1. Its mostly do to all the new fiber being added annoying but it does go away. The peeing thing is normal too and does stop being a constant annoyance in phase 2. As long as your not hungry ignore the growling. If your actually hungry have the jello if you want but as a snack its not the best since it has little value. Many folks have noted that having a serving of yogurt or milk before bed helps a great deal. Good luck.

Hang in there fellow P1-er's! It is day 3.5 for me and I am loving this--yeah, I get the fake little "hungry stomach" but I can tell I am not really hungry or I would also feel faint. I never weigh myself, but did day 1 and now I actually lost 1 whole pound since! Yeehah! And I can already feel less pulling in the thighs and waist of my jeans. Incredible.

More energy too. I am eating "more" than I did when I was eating high-fats and sugars and at weird off-times too!

I am a huge veggies fan--the balsamic portobellos with shallots and garlic is a really good meal. Check the recipe part of this site.

1 lb down about 9-12 to go til 120-117!!!! Yes!
