Is it ok to eat A LOT of broccoli and cauliflower and brussel
sprouts in Phase I?? I am, because it fills me up. I just
steam the veggies---just want to make sure it is ok to eat
unlimited amounts of these types of veggies.
Thanks |

Yes, veggies are pretty much unlimited, since they are low in calories yet filling, plus they have all the fiber and vitamins and everything. So enjoy!
Just make sure you're not leaving out milk/yogurt, small amounts of good fats, and the lean proteins! Those foods plus lots of veggies (including some beans) is what p1 is all about. |

| I don't remember seeing any beans on phase 1? Where? What kind of beans? Cooked how? Where am I missing this? I've only read up to the phase 1 part, but I don't remember seeing any beans. :o |

| All kinds of beans-- kidney, black, garbanzo, etc. You can make some chili or add them to your salads. Lots of ideas. Check out my FAQ-- it has links to an updated food list and Burdle's thread that is all about beans! |

| Si! :D That made me very happy too about this diet (the beans being allowed). Here's some faves of mine (for Phase 1 and right on into the other Phases): hummus (chick peas), black bean soup, chili (without any flour for thickening), lentil soup, black bean dip...the list goes on and on! :) It's great in my book! |
