Well, I have run into various people from high school in the 15 years since I graduated... and I've been perversely satisfied to find that most of the people who thought they were "all that" haven't done much with their lives. A few years ago I ran into my biggest high school crush... he was HOT in high school and not much to look at now! In my experience, a lot of people I envied then (thin, popular, etc.) are people I almost pity now... high school was the height of their acheivements. If I were you, I'd go to the reunion... just to find a little satisfaction in the fact that many of the people who were horrible to you then are probably not doing so well now. Ya' gotta love karma! *smile* |
