Well OK, technically only 9 months on SB. But the second set of comparison pics was 12 months apart. For the first set, I wanted to be in the same T-shirt as it fits a bit differently now! The size/scale of the images are a bit different, but I found I didn't have a lot of digi pics of me since I am usually the one taking them. My daughter took the one of me in front of the door of my parent's house while we were visiting over the holidays. I just liked the one of me in the elf hat on Christmas morning and really hated the pic it is paired with!

Anyway, maybe it'll help inspire some of the newbies, or some of the guys or some the DH's. Or maybe it'll just satisfy some of your curiosity over what the heck that RedRox dude looks like!

Now if SB could do something about that "high forehead" or the graying hair, Dr. A would REALLY be on to something!!

Hi there! Nice to put a face to all the great posts! Do you know how much younger you look now??? A lot! You don't even look like the same guy! Thanks for posting your pics. It's going to provide a lot of inspiration. Are you in Phase 3 yet, or still wanting to lose a little more?

Redroxo,
Thanks for posting this. It will surely serve as an insiration.
For me, it's wonderful to have that great face to put to your witty, generous, compassionate, detailed, humorous, and/or thought provoking posts.
You made me laugh when you mentioned your forehead. In my family, we call it a "five"head.

Continued success and I have to agree that you don't come around enough! :) GRACE

Grace-e, the guy who used to cut my hair called it six-head! So only having a five-head would be an improvement I think! And to you and Lynda, I do still check in almost every day. I was however on vacation for a couple weeks over the holidays. I also have kind of hit that point where answering the same questions over and over has gotten a little old, so my posting frequency has probably gone down over time. I'm still watching though!!

Vicki, not sure yet!! I gained more than I would have liked over the holidays and eating all my Mom's yummy baked goods so now I need to try and lose that. I think if I can stay in the 185 - 190 range and increase my muscle tone, I'll be fine with that. So more of a stricter P2 for the short term and then continue to reevaluate. I don't seem to have the same motivation to keep losing at this point. Well at least this week. Maybe as we head into the summer months that'll change.

alammy, oh yeah, forgot about those! My Tuesday "Butts N Guts" class is taking up the slack though! ;)

onthelose, I wasn't that heavy?? Those older pics just scare me!! I used to kind of think the same thing until I realized how much I lost along the way. I guess I could have weighed more, but 225 was bad enough for me!

Finally, Thanks to all those who took the time to post and add their thoughts and wishes.

RedRox,

Thank you for posting these photos, they are very encouraging. I am starting Monday (1/10/05) at 210 lbs, 6'-0", 40 year old man, and hope to lose 20-25 lbs.

As Yankee fan, let me congratulate you on both your loss and your World Series Championship!!!!

What an ALCS!!

Redroxco - You are just as handsome as I thought you would be. Seriously, you look a lot like I imagined you would (don't take that the wrong way...I don't lay around thinking about you at night.... ;)). Very inspirational; thanks so much for posting.
