Vicki,

Blonde really is your color. You look so much younger in your recent pictures, better than the dark hair.

You look great, and I love the new t-shirt!

All your pics are amazing.....

Sorry I passed by thus thread....... I had to come by especially when I saw your screename.

You are that nice lady who makes all the graphics for the board at holidays :)

You look incredible in all your photos. Like a new person. I am sure you feel so much healthier, and happier too although you look like a generally positive person. :)

Congratulations on all your success!!!!

Also, how do you do those side by side photos with the dates? I have seen people do that but I wouldn't know how........

Hi everybody! No real updates, no new inspiring photos. Just more and more of the same!

I think I'm about ready to officially enter Phase 3 and call this active weight loss thing a done deal. I haven't lost any weight in over a year. In fact I'm about 7 lb. higher than my all-time low that I reached last spring. On the flipside, I have kept off 45 lb. for more than a year and I look and feel great! I wear 10's and 12's and medium shirts, and everyone says I look great. Compared to some of the other moms I know, I do look pretty dang good! No bikini body, but hey, I look good in my black one-piece!

That does not mean that I'm going to stop eating beachy, though! I may relax just a bit on the strictness of what is "allowed" and what is "not allowed." I do intend to keep exercising 3-5 times a week on my elliptical. I am gradually upping the intensity. Currently I go between 3 and 4. :) I will keep up my walking and strength training, too.

I am going to turn my focus on maintaining and not actively trying to lose any more. That way, if I do, I'll be pleasantly surprised.

NEW GOALS: Keep my weight between 165 and 170
Keep exercising 3-5 times a week
Keep eating good carbs and good fats, no trans fats, mostly whole grains, lots of fruits and veggies, minimal junk and fried foods
Hit the ripe old age of 45 this August lookin' and feelin' good!
