Wow. You look great. Your goals seemed pretty much the same as mine. I'm 170 right now....hoping to get down to 130 - and hopefully more, but I'd be happy with that.

You are such an inspiration. Well done. :D

Wow - you look absolutely wonderful!!! What an inspiration! I just want you to know that you have definitely inspired me to keep on this diet. So, you've been on the diet for about a year??? If you don't mind me asking, do you have any tips or advice you can give me?

Thanks.

Thanks for your kind remarks!

I actually didn't exercise very much at all when I was in P1 or P2. However, now that I'm on P3, I exercise much more.

My biggest tip - NEVER CHEAT! I didn't cheat at all and only eat whole food. So usually only fresh - never frozen food. I also rarely eat any sugar subsitutes and stay completely away from anything with sugar alcohols.

I also rarely/never eat bread or rice - I stick to ww wraps, ww pita, Kashi GoLean cereal and oatmeal for my grains. I also will have ww pasta about once a month. I don't know if this made a difference, but this is what I do. I eat a lot of carbs in the form of veggies, fruit and beans.

I lost my weight at an average of 1.6 pounds per week.

Muskoka,

You've done so well and look so incredible! Thanks for sharing some of your secrets. I want to know if your weight ever stalled for how long?

I'm not really sure if I ever experienced a "stall". I only weigh myself about once every 4-6 weeks and did from the start. Therefore, I always experienced some sort of loss.

I didn't want to get obsessed with numbers, but tried to concentrate on my overall health and looked at weightloss in terms of clothing size.

I am totally serious when I say I would take all the weight back if I thought I could feel as great and be as healthy as I am today. THAT has been the greatest accomplishment of SBD for me - not just the fact that I can now wear low cut jeans

Girl you look AMAZING! and so happy in that recent pic :)

so can i pick your brain? You never cheated right.. is there a secret to your not cheating? i mean when that cookie is just staring you in the face saying 'eat me eat me you've had a really bad day and you are hungry' you just say no?

what about alcohol- did you ever go over the 2 glass limit?

I'm so happy for you- you are my inspiration! :)

Marniepooh,

I very rarely drink at all, so a 2 glass limit on a special occasion is more than fine. On average, I drink maybe 4 glasses of wine a month.

The secret to not cheating is to NOT have that cookie staring you in the face. At first it was hard since my husband did not join me on this journey, but in just a few weeks, I was just as satified having a fruit salad with cool whip or a ricotta creame. I also eat lots of Triscuits, so that gives me that "cookie crunch" satisfaction!

I think the most important thing is to ALWAYS have SBD food around. I have nuts in my purse, dried fruit and yogurt at work and I always have a fully stocked fridge.

Great Tips Ani. Your smart not to weigh yourself often. I'm one who weighs every day  I should just throw the thing away!!

Congratulations!! And thank you for the inspiration and insights!!! If I were attempting this (SBD) just to look good, I would inevitably fail. But I'm loving the way I'm feeling! Better appearance is just an added benefit. :D

I have to say...you look absolutely incredible! Also, I wanted to tell you that I have also about 50-60 lbs to lose, and I have been so so worried about all of the estra skin after weight loss thing...but you look unbelievable, and it is frankly inspiring to know that I can still lose 50 lbs and look as healthy and vibrant and have as beautiful skin as you do!

COngratulations, and any tips?

Hugs,

KC! :D
