Well, I thought I'd get in on the posting my before and during...almost 30 pounds down. The second picture was taken from a cell phone with a camera, so I look a little yellow...but I think I see a little bit of a difference, maybe around my smile...not great, but once I get more taken, I'll load them up here. The before picture was taken on June 18 and I started the SB way of living on July 9. The during picture was taken November 5. The another during was taken November 28. The last one was taken December 17 - six months after the first. Here goes:

Wow...I just want to say thanks for looking and for taking the time to post. It means a lot to have people that are going through the same thing as I am encouraging me along the way.
Darlene...I read your journal faithfully....you've done so well....especially with the stress of selling your house.
Canadianbeacher...thanks...you are always there to offer encouragement...its much appreciated.
Jamie...I'm sorry I spelled your name wrong in your before and during picture post. and thanks for the direction on how to post the pictures. You look amazing...I have very straight hair as you can see, so I'm extemely jealous of your "bad hair day" photo...I've paid a lot of money in the past for that look.
Thanks again to whomever came up with this forum...and Dr. A. for the information to live life healthier...its amazing how well it works when we let it.... |

| Thanks for all of your wonderful comments...it means a lot right now, especially since for some reason...even though I know the diet really works...I'm having trouble staying with it...Its easy...I know its easy...I just can't stay away from the chocolate....oh well...I tried exercising...lasted a week...getting up at 5:30 is really hard....here's hoping I find my way back before I do too much damage...wish me luck |

Thanks for stopping by...I added a picture to the first post, it was taken on Sunday...now i'm starting to see the difference...wow...I have friends that are travelling the world for a year...they left in August...when they return in August of 2005, whey won't even recognize me...that will be so much fun....

| Keep up the good work! I was in the UK to visit friends in Oct of 2003 and then again this year. It was great when my friends approached me and said they weren't sure it was me because of the weight I've lost! It's a great goal to surprise your friends when they return! I have one friend I haven't told about the diet... I'm hoping to see him in New York this Spring and totally surprise him! |
