| By Bill Philips. I'm very much into this mans programs.I did the 12 week exercise thing a while back and it did work, but I could not keep up. But it did work. i just got tired of the rigor of the workouts. so, I've read this book is much easier on the recipie then SBD. Has anyone compared the two? I' think I'll go to B&N tonight and check em both out. I'm only going to be resticted but so much in life and not having pancakes is a big restriction for me that I know, I will not be able to do. so I have to do some research and I'll be back later on this evening. Love B&N for being open until 11 PM:) |

FWIW Cheryl, you can still eat pancakes on SB. They are just a different type of pancake. I'm not big on whole wheat pancakes, so I bought a bag of Bob's Red Mill Oat Flour. On it there is a recipe for pancakes that involves cooked oatmeal, the oat flour, egg yolks and whipped egg whites. They really are pretty tasty! They are howver more involved than just taking out the box of mix, adding water and starting to drop them in a pan within a few minutes. So we don't make them quite as often, but we still eat our new kind of pancakes which almost everyone in our family (one dissenting vote out of four) actually prefers the taste to than the old mix.
But I'm also for whatever works for any individual. The ultimate key for anyone is to find a program and a WOE that they enjoy and can stay with and fits in with their lifestyle and health goals. That is not always SB for everyone. Good luck with your search and journey! |

| this is so true. So, I'll buy the book. It had so many nice recipes in it. Things I had, not things I had to purchase and what I love, color pictures. That gets me all the time. if he can eat that stuff and still have a body the way he does and he recommends it to other fitness enthusiates, it's also worth a shot. Heck. The money gets donated to some orgainzation any how so .... we shall see. I blew it all to heck this evening any how being hungry. |

I just ran across this book this morning...well...the website www.eatingforlife.com.
The recipes on the site looked like basic high veggies high taste, low-cal stuff. I guess the book has some plans and such about how to eat and when. What does it say?
I think I might check it out from the library. I don't want to get too much advice...that gets confusing. |

| Well...I flipped through the books, and I think I'll stick to the beach. It's a good plan...but it just isn't something I want to do now. |
