If its legal and I want it I eat it. There hasn't been anything that I have really stayed away from except the ricotta (YUCK!) I'm at the point now that I try to get in between 1-2 grains and 2-3 fruit per day and plenty of water.
Thanks everyone for their responses! I would suggest that everyone try and keep updated pictures even if they don't want to post them. Its hard for me to really tell the difference other then clothes fitting better until I see the difference for myself. Its a great motivator! |

I just wanted to mention that as of yesterday, I am back in the "Normal" BMI range at 24.7. When I started SB I had a BMI of 28.9 which was considered "Overweight" but was bordering on "Obese" which starts at 30.0. One of the christmas wishes I had would be that I would be back in the 130's for the holidays with a normal BMI. I guess I got what I had wished for after all. My husband also got what he wished for, to reach 200 from his starting weight of 236.5 and he managed that this morning.

Ok... the word is terribly underrated and way overused in this thread... but
WOW!!!
Jamie, not only are you beautiful on the inside, which you demonstrate over and over again, but you are gorgeous on the outside, too. Your pictures prove what I'm always saying... women should have curves!!! Period! Be proud of them. You have one luscious figure... um... if it's okay if you hear that from another girl! :oops: |

Many of you heard me mention my husband had started the Beach with me back in September. Well, I finally have a recent picture to post on his progress. He started out at 236.5 and is now at 196 for a total of 40.5lbs in the last couple months. His goal is 185 so he doesn't have far to go. :lol:

You are a total inspiration!
Once I can figure out how to do the photo hosting (and get a good starting shot of me, I am going to post my pictures.) I am just starting out, but I am looking at these threads to get and keep motivated since I am just squeaking to 5'4 and am currently 181 lbs. (34 y/o female)
Also, just want to say it's so awesome that you've lost weight after getting married! I got married at about 150 lbs, and I gained about 15 in the first year-- old story!-- and then got prenant a year laters. Now, 6 months after baby, I have this 40 some odd pounds to lose.
Congrats on not going down that road!!! |

| Ahhh, you guys are too kind :oops: I'm very happy with where I am at now. Its taken a while but everytime someone asks me how much weight I've lost and I say almost 30lbs, I can't hardly believe the words are coming out of my own mouth. The only advice I can give is stick with it when it gets hard and it doesn't seem like you are losing because eventually you will. |
