| Anyone try this "idiot proof diet"?It talks about losing 9 lbs in 11 days by switching around the number of calories you intake daily for 8 days so you fool your metabolism , cheat the next 3 days (as you lose 9 lbs) and then starting again. Ofcourse you have to pay $27. 00 for the diet manual or do the online version for the same money.. |

| I'd skip that *diet*... stay on South Beach... and spend the $27.00 on the new pair of jeans I'd need after a month here. :D |

| I am starting the idiot proof diet as of tomorrow. SO i will let you know how it works. I am a college student without a lot of time or money so this diet really appeals to me. If there is anyone that is also starting this diet, let me know. It would be great not to have to do this alone!!! :D |

| LyndaB gave good advice. Save your money! Someone else posted this diet several months ago, but I don't remember the particulars. |

My guess is the body isnt dumb. You cant FOOL it.
The only FOOL is someone who buys into this.
Calories in/calories out.
Be healthy, skip the fad diets. |

Pardon me, but where do you get off calling someone a fool just because they aren't marching to the beat of the South Beach drum??? It's been said countless times that every diet isn't for every body and you are very ignorant to criticize someone for their choice regardless of how silly you may think it is. My next door neighbor is doing something similar called the Wendi Plan (Weight Watchers) where she varies her points from very low to very high each day to boost her metabolism. She is very happy with what she's doing and is having damn good results, thank you! |

| Not to be "hostile" or anything, but if you aren't marching to the South Beach drum, why are you on the South Beach Message Boards? Just curious. |

If this question was not directed towards me, please disregard the following comment:
If I'm not correct, this is the section for other diets. I am doing SB. It's my neigbor/friend who's not and she is NOT a fool, and I'm sure that Diet Sprite isn't either. |

I dont call anyone a fool for not using the SB diet
I call someone a fool for believing the plan you described in the top of this thread will be effective. And my use of the word "fool" is a tounge in cheek use of the diet's name.
Chill baby, its all good. |

| Ok, and just how do you know that it won't be effective? As I previously stated, my neighbor/friend is doing something quite similar. She and the countless others that are doing the Wendi Plan are living proof that something like that can work. And yes, I know it's all good. |

| Okay, I'm not even going to waste anymore of my time by going there with you. She told me to tell you to "take your bridge and shove it". And she says she means that in a tongue and cheek kind of way. |

I must admit, I am devestated someone who knows someone from a message board told me to shove it. This will shatter my self esteem for years to come.
Oh..and I mean that in a tounge in cheek kinda way. |
