After doing South Beach and going from 143 lbs.- 117 lbs. I decided to finally get my tummy tuck to take care of the loose skin that I have had since having my 3 children.
I had the surgery just 9 days ago- but this site really helped keep me motivated, and I wanted to share my pics with you guys!
The South Beach way is MY new way of eating, I love it, it has changed my life.
Good Luck to everyone!

WOW!!!! You look fantastic!!! Have you notice the scale go down since getting the surgery?? I wasn't sure if you lost much from the excess skin being removed. I think that is one of my biggest fears once I hit goal, is that I will have a lot of loose skin. Hubby says not to worry about it if I do, but I know that I will. We will just have to see how it goes when I get there.
Congrats on your lose!! I'm sure that you feel 100% better after having the tummy tuck.

Thankyou!!!!!
I havent lost anymore weight since the surgery- although, I am still "puffy", but I dont think enough skin was removed to make much difference in my weight.
I will be glad when all the swelling is gone, and I get a true "look" at what I have now! Its so odd, looking down, and seems foreign to me!! |

I could do with a tummy tuck, though mine isn't really that big. Both my children were close to 11 pounds and I'm a smalll boned type of person. The excess flab on my tummy annoys me at times, but surgery scares me even more! So I think I'll just exercise and keep most of it down and leave the loose skin where it is :D
You look great, but you didn't look so bad before. |

Shania... kudos to you! You look fabulous!
I've already told my hubby that when I get to my goal (or below) that I will also tuck away the last vestiges of my former self. Not vanity... just a lil reward to myself for a job well done.
You're awesome.... congrats again!

| WOW thank you so much for sharing that! How long did it take for you to lose the weight? I am starting at around the same weight with the same goal. |

| Shania....congrats on your great new body! I have a couple of quick questions for you regarding your tummy tuck.... First, how much did it cost you? Secondly, with the scar, can you wear low-rise jeans? It looks like the scar goes up beyond your hip-bones so you can't wear low-rise jeans. I have no diea what my body will lok like when I drop the last 10 lbs I have to lose, but I am considering a tummy tuck (and perhaps breast augmentation) if I have lots of loose flab. |
