my dh brought me some water, which i sipped and seemed to help. after about 1/2 hr of lying on the floor, i asked for some corn chips. after eating 4 slowly, i felt better and better until i was fine. is this in my head? sugar shock?? it was weird. i've felt nauseaus a little bit on and off today, but nothing like last night. thanks for your feedback.

I know what you mean. I am on day 2 now and it just hit me about 11:00. I was dizzy and shakey and kinda nausious. I was worried that there was something wrong. I ate some lunch and that seemed to help. When this happends should I eat something with sugar in it to boost my blood sugar?

that's what helped me. i had some chips and viola! felt fine. i never thought i had low blood sugar before, but the last few nights i've been especially careful to eat something sbd friendly right before going to bed so it doesn't happen again. keep me posted on how it works for you -

Today I feel alot better. I brought snacks with me to school and that has made all the difference. It was wierd because yesterday(Day 2) I just wasn't feeling well and my husband is on the diet and he was the same way. Today I feel so much better! Keep me up to date on how you are doing

Sunshineonleith, I also had the exact same thing (currently on day 12 of P1) & vomitted the last 2 nights... :(
My stomach didn't feel acidic, but I had a milk craving & it helped to soothe things a bit immediately.
Having killer gut pains at the moment as well & plan to try the suggestion of a piece of whole wheat bread tomorrow if this persists...I'm actually contemplating going to P2 a day early because I haven't felt well for most of the time so far & haven't lost any weight or reduced sizes anyway.
Good luck & I hope you feel better! |
