| The legume kind, like chick peas, black beans, northern beans and so forth. The fresh green ones are good too!! But those count as vegetables. The legumes are more in addition to your regular vegetable portions. FWIW, I eat a portion of black beans with salsa and tomatoes almost every day along with my salad for lunch and they help fill me up and keep me from being hungry in the afternoon. |
