I just turned 40....was dx with BC at age 37. Bilateral mast., 6 months of chemo, 28 radiation treatments and 25 extra pounds. I'm not taking Tamoxifen or anything else other than a daily multivitamin.
Anyone else out there in similar situation??? |

| Yes, 20 pounds added in the two years before the breast cancer diag in sept of 03 at age 46. After surgery, 6 months chemotherapy and 28 radiation treatments, I am still recovering and looking forward to dropping those pounds. I have been walking and dieting. Just starting the SB. |

I didn't have BC, but was diagonised with Hodgkins about 4 years ago. 6 months of chemo and a month of radiation. Gained about 30 pounds. Lost it once on Adkins, gained it back..
Went to see my Oncologist for my 6 month check up. He walk in my room and I didn't even recognize him.. He had lost 30 pounds on the SBD in 3 months.. I left his office feeling so inspired.. I bought the book, read it and now I'm 22 pounds lighter.. |
