I am wondering if when my blood sugar goes low and I have to have some sugar to raise it, how bad is that throwing off my SBD? Since going on SB I have had to play around with adjusting my insulin and have had quite a few low blood sugar episodes. Any info would be great, thanks, Jaimee

I am also a type 1 diabetic for the past 40 years, and have found the SBD to attribute to hypoglycemic episodes. If, however, after the additional intake of sugar to compensate for the low blood sugar, you go back on the diet and learn through experience how to adjust your insulin, I have found, it does not slow down the weight loss to any great degree.
