Kimboroni

I'll start:

Mine is pretty simple-- my name is Kim, and back in the Rob Schneider "copy boy" skit days, I was often called The KimMeister, Kimmalamadingdong, and Kimboroni. I've used this as my screen name for the 4+ years that I've been on the internet.

Some of yours are pretty basic, like those having to do with SB and losing weight, but some are really intriguing to me. How did you come up with your screen names?

spiffikins

hmm, well, mine is sort of a play on the fact that for a while my favourite word to use was "spiffy" :)

pretty basic, but so far i haven't had to fight anyone for my screen name :)

bunnywings

:P HI, I use mine as a memory of my baby sister who died of cancer. She was born on November 15th, which in our state is the first day of Hunting Season..... so, my Dad wanted to name her Bunny !!! My Mom said ..... NO..... but once in awhile we called her Bunny.... So now she is gone, but I know she has wings.... sooo..... "Bunnywings"........ Good Memories !!!!!

RedRox

Mine is a play on a couple of things. I have always enjoyed going to concerts and one of the very best and most unique outdoor ampitheaters in North America is Red Rocks Ampitheater in Morrison, CO. (If you've ever seen the old U2 video for "Sunday Bloody Sunday" that was filmed there, although I wasn't there that night.) In my 20+ years in Colorado, I've had a lot of great nights and great memories "under the stars" at Red Rocks. It's kind of a mystical, magical, transformational place for me.

I also enjoy baseball and Rox is kind of an abbreviation for the Colorado Rockies. I had to add the CO at the end when I signed up on EZBoard for another message forum and just kept it for this one, since well, I'm in CO along with the ampitheater and the baseball team!

IMGrace

Grace was my grandmother's name and I've always aspired to be more like her...a very strong woman. I use her name in hopes that evoking her spirit will give me the strength I need just now.
I had to re-register last week b/c of some sort of elusive problem and had to change my username to do so, thus IMGrace(I am Grace)

Great thread Kimmalamadingdong but I'm going to have a little trouble taking you seriously now! :)

My screen name reflects two things about me; first I'm from Georgia! Second, I'm a travel agent, plus I personally love to travel.

klutzyazhel

Mine should be obvious, First of all this is also my e-mail and all other names I use in posts, plus it's just a part of who I am. I am clutsy as all hell, but wanted to be unique, so klutzyazhel is what I came up with... :D
Great idea  ( yes I'm blonde) LOL.

Floridachick

Um, I'm in central Fla, so I just came up with this awhile ago. I've used it for other signatures as well, so I thought I'd go with the flow!
This is also my first time posting. I haven't really started the diet - need to get the book, I think, to get a good idea of what's involved. I do need to lose a lot of weight. Right now, I'm about 225, 5'6", and 54 years old. Way too much weight to be hauling around on this frame, and I"m exhausted all the time. I've tried the Atkins diet, but I thought it was a bit harsh on the carb situation and am hoping this one will be a bit more gentle, if as every bit as effective! I do admit, I like fruit and would like to incorporate them into my maintenance diet once the excess weight is gone.
Good to meet all of you and I hope I'll be chatting with y'all later.
Sue

Burdle

I just went on Google and put in "Burdle". 2 SBD threads showed up, and this definition: Burdle, verb/0 To potter about inoffensively.
Now I just have to find out what 'To Potter about' means...lol
I also found out that there really are people who's last or middle name is Burdle.
My brother calls me Burdle, has for years.

srwerner

I couldn't think of anything creative when I signed up for the board. I thought about cicadahater since the 17 year cicadas were out at the time, but I figured it would lose it's relevance for another 17 years! So mine is just my first initial, first initial of my hyphenated last name and the rest of the last name... Now I wish I could have thought of something better...
