Great thread! Well mine is because my neighbor calls my daughter Horseygirl...and her grandson Ponyboy...so I kinda adapted Horsegrrrl to fit me.
I've been riding since I was 2 - so for 33 years! eeeek! ;) Doesn't mean I'm good at it, but I've had my moments...! :P |

Good idea for a thread!
My name is Suzy, and i'm pretty short (5'0)- i have been using this screen name since i started using the internet, when i was 14! My bf and a few other people even call me LilSuz as a nickname now that they know my screen name. |

It's a play on the transitive and intransitive verb forms of the word loose.
To make loose; undo: loosed his belt.
To become loose.
I don't really care what the number is on the scale as long as the pants are loose!!!
 |

Well if the picture of "baby Jake" don't give it away then I don't know what would LOL.
So why say I'm his mom? Well I can't have children so I tend to spoil and treat my dogs as if they were children. Jake has a special story of his own...but its a long one. Lets just say he's my special baby! |

What a fun thread!
Santosha is a sanskrit word for contentment - santosha reminds us that it's really not the goal that's important, but the path. If we can't relish the journey, then how will we be able to enjoy ourselves when we reach our destination?
I like to remember these thoughts and keep them in my heart as I progress on the SB path... |

I LOL'ed at some of these!
My screen name comes from my love of Jane Austen. "Elizabeth Bennett" seemed too obvious so I picked a less-obvious character outta "Mansfield Park." Hmmm, imagining Austen character on SBD....
"I daresay Mr. Wyckham you might do very well to continue Phase I for the full fortnight required!" |

I wish I could say mine is because I work with monkeys or something.... but I just like them! I also wanted something that was unlikely to already be taken.
Also I just wanted something kind of fun that wasn't my real name, but still revealed my gender, hence the "gal" part.... I alway find it strange to read someone's posts & imagine them male or female, only to find out they're the opposite!! |
