Hi, I was wondering if any one had any ideas for breakfast. This is my 5th day on the program and I have had egg beaters every morning. I was wondering what kind of breakfast others eat. I like the eggs just a little tired of them after 5 days. I am not much of a breakfast eater so I am proud that I am actually eating breakfast. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Tami

I like cottage cheese with some diced celery and chopped nuts. I also will eat chicken breast or a Bocca Burger or celery and peanut butter. Anything on the list can be eaten for breakfast. I like to poach an egg and put it in a nest of spinach and have a glass of V-8 juice.

I'm not big on breakfast, specially early - I take two of the mini quiches to work - they are good hot or cold. Because I make them with different
'additions' each time we don't get sick of eating them - plus I make at least a week's worth and freeze them, so they're ready to go anytime

Hi,

I thought we cannot have peanut butter in phase 1. Is this accepted food for phase 1?

You are allowed a teaspoon of peanut butter a day in phase 1 and they recommend the natural peanut butter because they usually don't add sugar, but read the label.

Lox rolled up with Tofuffi Better-than-Cream-Cheese and romaine or spinach leaves! Mozzarella sticks! Broccoli/cauliflower with LF ranch dressing! I have eaten all of these as breakfast type foods.

Mozarella sticks - NOT fried - just the low fat string cheese type (found in the dairy case) - made for kids' lunch boxes and us SBD'ers, I think.

Actually you are allowed 2 Tbls of peanut butter a day. Just make sure the ingredients are basically peanuts.
