This is day 11, p1, I work out often, not today though,
I noticed that I have been feeling tired, and I have been
sleeping a little bit more, is this common?
I have lost 5lbs, and doing the diet accordingly. |

yes, it's normal what you're feeling.
Please increment your water intake and your proteins.
Add some beans to your menus.
You will be feeling better in P2.
Hang in there, |

I had the same problem on days 3 and 4, but I added more beans and carbs before my work outs, and the eenrgy came back.
Just besure not to over do it with the carbs. |

| I too am feeling terrible. I am on day 3 of P1. I don't even have the strength to workout or do anything. Normally I have a lot of energy. What kinds of carbs can I add to feel better and to especially make this headache go away? :( |

I've been feeling awful since yesterday. I'm now on Day 5 Phase 1, and although I felt a little better earlier, I feel terrible again. Really drained and exhausted :(
I've been assured that this will pass, but right now I feel REALLY ill :( |

| I'm on day 3 of P1 as well and I was OK Monday and Tuesday but today I felt completely exhausted! Let's all hang in there- it will pass and we will be so happy with the results! |

I've posted this here before, but it 's good info and may help you:
This posted by KarylA on prevention.com for SBD:
"Beans are a very good thing for people in phase 1 to eat on probably day 3 or 4. This is for a couple of specific reasons and I will outline a few of them.
One: glycogen(stored muscle energy) is depleted by doing phase 1 very strictly, because the veggies are low GI and you are not eating grains, so you need a slow release carb.
Two: fibers, soluble and insoluble, are needed in all phases for proper digestion and utilitzation of nutrients, and beans have plenty of it.
Three: nutrients in beans are different from other foods, and we need a lot of variety in nutrient input.
So, please, if you think you are feeling unwell on phase 1 and getting lethargic, headachy, etc. try some beans. Don't have to eat a lot of them! just a half cup will do a lot of good. If you can do that twice in a couple of days, phase 1 will be much easier |

Yes, you frequently tend to feel like cr*p on Phase 1. Some of us even wind up throwing up in spite of beans and water. I felt horrible and nearly passed out in a class.
Phase 2 is a lot better. |

| I have been on SB since july 22 and have yet to have any energy. I eat beans almost daily..I do suffer depression although that seems to be better. Just no energy, i have never really had energy even as a kid, and yes have been through all tests possible to test. Have lost 45 pounds, only 25 on the beach though, the other i lost before i started the beach. |
