Before you get MORE freaked out... why don't you help us by telling us more about yourself. Your starting weight, any medical problems, what you've been eating...

Have you psyched yourself out about starting SB? Maybe it's just nerves... :?

Taking any of those silly "carb blockers" pills or anything?

Hi,

I have just started the SB diet 4 days ago and I have found that I wake in the middle of the night with bad cramp in my legs- which i never had before?

Maybe lack of sodium?

Many times cramping in legs and feet is due to a lack of potassium... maybe you should try to have 1/2 banana before you go to bed. Is it ONLY when you go to bed?

Hey, thanks for all of the replys. Okay:

egg omlet for breakfast
rolled lunch meat and cheese for lunch
cashews for a snack
chicken caesar salad for dinner or salad with a meat

I take calcium multi vitamin, fish oil, and an ocasional metamucil if needed.
I also drink 80 ounces of water a day

This is so strange, have I lost too much weight too quickly?

started June 30th
at 180 pounds
phase one for 2 and a half weeks
then phase two with the addition of an apple a day
This morning weighed in at 163 pounds (July 17th)
17 pounds lost

should I be worried?

Sounds like a circulation problem to me. Do you have LOW blood pressure? I do and sometimes I'll get that feeling if I'm stuck at my desk for too long.

Walk around when you feel that way...you can take "cold" showers to increase the circulation as well...

And I had terrible cramps in both calves coming out of Phase 1...the kind that you can't even get up to walk them out...oh it's painful! But then I started adding some avocado to my diet each day and haven't had them since! ;)

hey guys, the tingling in my hands and feet was lack of vitamin B complex, although I take a multi, it wasn't enough doc said. Doing fine now!

I thought it was just me. My legs have been just achy in the evenings and by the time I go to bed my hands and feet feel so swollen. I recently started taking the One-a-Day Weight Smart vitamins and was wondering if that was causing it so I didn't take one today.
