Looking to see if crackers are ok (not made with white flour).. :? ..those gourmet crackers for PII??

I know decaf coffees are allowed...but what :?: about gourmet coffees, decaf latta, macchiatos, etc. in any phase?

Are Lemons/Limes  acceptable in any phase?

 What about soft tortilla crust or tortilla chips (I am guessing no because of corn?)?

Just a few..until I find some more hahahahah

Hi Lacie Girl~

I can answer a couple of the questions you asked, but not all.

As for the crackers, not positive about them, but from what I've read, P2 states that we use starches sparingly. It lists: Bagels(small whole grain), bran muffins, bread (multigrain, bran, whole wheat), cereal (high fiber, oatmeal [not instant]), pasta (whole wheat), pita, rice (brown, wild).

I don't see anything listed about crackers, but who knows? I'm only ond day 5 of P1. Maybe someone with more knowlege of the program can answer that one.

As for lemons and limes, we can use those in all phases. I printed out a grocery list for P1 on this site, and lemons and limes were listed among the acceptable items.

The coffee thing I really don't know about, because I don't drink it. Maybe a coffee drinker can answer that one.

Your final question was about the tortillas. I think those are a big no-no on P1. As for P2, I'm not sure. I have seen low carb (4 carbs per tortilla), in the store, but I'm not sure on the sugar content.

I hope I was a little bit helpful. I got on the scale this morning, and finally saw a drop. A big 2 lbs, but it's better than nothing. "The boss" has lost another 3/4 of a lb, as of this morning! He's one happy camper about now.

Talk to you later.

check the crackers for "partially hydrogenated" stuff - that's a no no and a lot of crackers have them.

Actually, decaf AND regular coffees are allowed ~ up to 2 cups per day. And the lattes and all that jazz are ok, if they're made with 1% , skim or soy milk.

Check to see if the coffee place you go to sells sugar free shots of vanilla, carmel, etc. (or whatever flavor you like).... that'll add to it a bit! 8)

And don't sweeten it with regular sugar,.... either bring your own Splenda or use a sugar substitute.
