A friend of mine made up this recipe. I tried it and it's out of this world!

1-2 lbs extra lean ground beef or turkey (depends on the size pan you are using)
2 eggs
Tomatoe Paste/Tomotoe Sause (watch the grams of sugar - keep it low, less than 3 g)
No-fat cheese - chedder & mozerella (or low-fat)
Veggie/Canadian bacon toppings

Brown the meat in a skillet. Don't overcook it. Take it just past the pink stage.

Drain the grease off. Put in casserole dish and let cool.

Add two eggs and mash it all around and then pack it down tight.

Mix up a sause to the consistancy of your liking. Use a small can of t. paste (6 oz?) and add t. sause. Sprinkle in some oregano. Spread it over the meat "crust."

Sprinkle some cheese over the meat and then add your favorite toppings.
Here's what I used:

canadian bacon
onions
green (bell) peppers
zuchinni
"green" tomatoes (they stay firm and taste great!)

Add some more cheese

Cook at 350 until cheese melts - about 40-45 minutes.

Other toppings: mushrooms, olives, whatever!

This tastes so good and I didn't even miss not having a crust. With the cheeses and tomatoe sause, it was great substitue for the real thing.

I made this pizza the other night for my kids and they loved it as much as I did! I used 1/2 can of Chef Boy Ardee pizza sauce which is less carbs than the tomato sauce/paste puree mix. I baked the egg and meat mixture about 10 minutes first, then added all my toppings.

Thanks for the fabulous recipe and idea!

I have seen this recipe using 1/2 cup of nut flour instead of the eggs.

1 Pound Hamburger
1/2 Cup Nut Flour (I used almond)
1 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Oregano
Pat into pan and top with
1/2 cup tomato sauce
Toppings as desired
Bake 20 minutes at 450

My husband and I really enjoyed this recipe. I changed the sauce slightly. I added 1 tsp of parsley, 1/2 tsp garlic powder and a 1 packet of splenda.

I also tried the peanut butter cookies. They were pretty good. Does anyone know how many would be a serving, one or two?

Peanut butter cookie

1 cup of splenda
1 cup of peanut butter
1 egg

mix of together. bake at 350 for 8 to 9 minutes. This recipe makes 18 half dollar sized cookies. I used a small scoop and pressed them down slightly.

Awesome!
I tried the Meatsa Pizza last night and it was great. My husband and daughter who aren't on the diet decided to have some of "mom's food" for dinner also and they loved it. Thanks again!

ANOTHER VERSION IS TO MIX 1/2 BEEF WITH 1/2 TURKEY FOR THE CRUST. SOUNDS BAD BUT TASTES GREAT!
OFFERS THOSE OF US WHO ARE NOT GROUND TURKEY LOVERS A CHANCE TO ENJOY WITHOUT ALL THE FAT OF BEEF.

before south beach we used to make pizzas on pita bread all the time wich were excellent........why couldn't we use the whole wheat pitas???? and if we actually split them in half ,dividing the two layers it would be less carbs and we would still have a slight crust???? any Ideas
