| The c.m.potatoes don't taste like mashed potatoes but they are very very good and are very much a comfort food - after the first few days of nothing but cold salads, and then trying the "mashed potatoes" - I just wanted to swim in them! Warm and satisfying. |

| Ditto what Annie said. I think they come close to mashed potatoes, but of course they aren't the same. But I love them. I even have my wife hooked on them and she's not on the diet. |

| I love 'em. I'd eat them even if I wasn't on this diet. Try steaming garlic cloves with your cauliflower and then mashing it all together. Yum. |

we tried these and i didnt like them. may try again some time and make them a bit thicker and more seasoning. no they DO NOT taste like mashed potatoes. similar consistancy and texture tho. just use a lot of garlic and some smart balance--and salt and pepper wouldnt hurt either.
woe is me  |

| Thanks... I had a feeling they were too good to be true. Think I'll save them for when I'm a little more desperate. |

I've always disliked cauliflower however much it is disguised with cheese sauce etc - however mashed cauliflower with a little non-fat milk and a splodge of Olivio Light (a butter substitute spread made with Olive Oil) tasted not too bad at all.

I'm not a massive fan of cauliflower either.
HOWEVER, I find these ABSOLUTELY FREAKING DELICIOUS!!!!
Yes, you have to be careful. Get the cauliflower out of the microwave ASAP, so they are piping hot. Get them into the food processor fast, add just a touch of the ff half and half, (1 oz is about 1 Tbs) and the butter spray (I just take off the lid and pour it in). A good amount of salt and pepper is absolutely necessary. Process it until it's good and smooth.
The key is to make them very last, so you can serve them very hot, and don't put too much FF half and half in. Keep the heat in them! Once they go cold, they're not that great.
They are surprisingly good. To be honest, if I didn't know they were made from cauliflower, I wouldn't be able to guess it!! |

| They are incredible, but I have found the cauliflower has to be really well cooked and soft. The roasted garlic is really good with it, and you need to add salt and peppper. It's so unbelieveable that they are that great! |
