Forgive my ignorance, but what is an everyday cake plate? Is it just a normal ceramic plate?

Thanks.

Yes...any ceramic plate..i use the cake plate size.. it does not stick at all.. some folks were having problems with wax paper and found that freezer wrap works but I've found this to be ideal

You can also use parchment paper..nothing sticks and no clean up. It can be found at any super walmart on the aisle they sell foil wrap etc.

Thanks for the cooking info. I tried these tonight and even the kids came running to see what smelled so good! The Pam on the plate idea did the trick!

Okay what did I do wrong? Mine just got all dried out and weird tasting. I used low-fat cheddar cheese. Should I have used a different kind?

Oh, and here's another thing I made last night that was org...er, heavenly! I made a basil pesto and stuffed a little into mushroom caps and baked it until hot. OMG YUM!

:D

It works well with grated cheddar cheese. I sprinkle enough on a plate to make a "lacy" pattern. Also, you can scatter pepperoni on it and nuke it along with the cheese. Sure is nice to have something that goes CRUNCH!
