Hi,

I'm from Dublin, Ireland and am on Phase 1. I cannot find low fat Ricotta anywhere, just regular Ricotta - has anyone else found it?

Also, there seems to be loads of sugar free products in the US, but there are no sugar free sweets or desserts (e.g. angel delight - all no added sugar, not sugar free) here, are there?

I am really missing something sweet in the evenings and this is causing me to eat more savory snack later between dinner and bed.... please help! Last night I gave into temptation and ate 4(!!!) chocolate biscuits

Do you like sweetened cottage cheese and yougurt?
For me, I add vanilla and artificial sweetner to lowfat yogurt. I also eat cottage cheese with sweetner. The combination of cool, creamy and sweet satisfies my need for dessert.

Have you tried Birds sugar-free jelly? The strawberry flavour is nice, and the orange is OK. Not quite as lovely as the full Rowntree's shebang, but I got used to it pretty quickly.

Hey

I am from the UK but live in the U.S you might try healthfood store's for the lowfat ricotta. Keep in mind also that sometimes certain items have different names over here to there. i.e swedes are to the US Ruderbagers, Biscuits are to US cookies. try a search on some web sites for like Tesco and such maybe you get lucky. I will check with an Italian relative in the U.K to see where she gets it to make her lasangna.

I have just bought from M+S a vanilla type yogurt mousse and this appears to be low in carbohydrates. It tastes great anyway.
