and as you can imagine, i am pretty picky, and i dont like 'grown up food' Problem is.... i go to school from 7:00-5:00 every day, and i am always finding myself hungry. I never know what to eat that doesnt take much preperation, and tastes good for breakfast, so that meal usually goes by without much notice. Lunch is ok.. and i have it around 1:30.... usually a sandwhich on low carb bread, diet coke and some sort of vegatable or fruit. Dinner is always easy, meat and a vegatable and salad. When i get home, i usually go for something that could probley end up killing me in the long run (pop corn, chips, cookies) something fast, availible, but also leaves me craving more. So, that throws off the 'no-carb' factor. After dinner is ok too, cause i eat some low carb ice cream or someting like that. I have lost 20 pounds, but looking to loose more until i am in my healthy range. Any suggestions for breakfast, that can either be eaton on the way to school or at school, because i am not hungry in the morning, or snacks throughout the day, or after school?

Thanks..

Stick a cheese stick & a small bag of peanuts in your bag. That's something you can eat even between classes.
For breakfast, I am so tired of eggs & can't stomach the ricotta cheese. I have been taking a piece of the laughing cow cheese cut it in half and spread on a piece of low fat turkey or ham and roll up w/ a small can of veg. juice.
Sorry so long. Hope this helps a little.

SUSTAINING

You may want to try the Atkins muffins or make up an Egg McMuffin (wheat english muffin with canadian bacon, cheese and egg). I make several at a time and put them in the freezer. When I want one I just wrap it in a papertowel and microwave it for 1 1/2 minutes and it is awesome. The muffins make 8 I think so that would also freeze nicely and then just nook before you walk out the door.

Good luck.

and...you might want to watch the ice cream snacking, even low carb has sugar so that could get you in the end...

I usually cook a few strips of turkey bacon in the morning and bag them up for my morning snack.

Ive been enjoying boiled eggs for breakfast on the go...

Put eggs in a pan and cover with cold water. Put the pan on the stove on high. Let the water come to a boil then start a 10 minute timer. At the end of 10 minutes take the pan off the stove and run some cold water over the eggs.

This cooks them perfectly with no gray coating over the yolk (such a common problem). I sometimes boil a dozen at once and just keep them in the fridge for the week. I put a little salt and pepper in a sandwich baggie and take it with me to dip the eggs in later.

I admit this isnt a very exciting breakfast, but its so easy to just reach in the fridge and put an egg in my pocket!
