| Many years ago I went for a free consultation with LA Weightloss. I had no idea how much it cost and wanted info. I do recall that it was very expensive. I told them I wasn't prepared to join because I didn't have that kind money - I was hoping it was like Weight Watchers where you can pay weekly, but they needed a large sum right away. When I told them I didn't have the money, they became very verbally abusive -- told me that I didn't love myself if I didn't think I was worth the money, that my friends and family didn't love me or care about me if they wouldn't lend the money, and that I must not be serious about wanting to lose weight if I didn't show up with a checkbook or credit card. It was such an obnoxiously cruel hard-sell, trying to demean my self-worth so I'd feel pathetic enough to do what I had to do to get the money. Fortunately it didn't work; I told them what they could go do with themselves and complained to authorities about their business practices. |

| That's horrible, Namaste! I hope all of their salespeople and centers aren't like that. |

| VERY expensive, VERY restrictive... not a way of life. However, the LA lite bars were delicious. But they gave me a sweet tooth, before LAWL I never craved something sweet after meals. The weight came of VERY slowly even when I followed the plan exactly. |

I was on LA weight loss... the entry fee alone is like 900 or so... they want it all up front! Then you HAVE to buy those bars and what not...
I found myself hungry! I was on the program for three months and lost two pounds...
ON SB I lost 15 lbs the first two weeks, hahaha, and haven't lost any since, why I am going to come back to the boards more often! That helped! That is our support group! |
