i will be starting the beach tomorrow. i have 45 lbs. to lose. i have the book and it seems to be an easy life style change except for the fact that i am a carb addict. i wonder if there is a 12 step program for that. will post regularly on my journal. any encouragement would be greatly appreciated.

Just give it three days and you will stop craving those carbs...and then don't give in. Your horizon will be so much broader without bad carbs :) . Drink lots of water and make sure you EAT when you are hungry...don't try to starve yourself. That's not what this is about.
