My husband and I have been doing SBD for about 6 weeks . My lowest weight has been 12 pounds under where I started, but I haven't lost anything for a month. and my weight fluctuates between 8 and 10 pounds under my starting weight. My clothes are big in the waist, and I have lost in my rear and on top as well as my belly. We like the diet and consider it a healthy way of life, but I would like to lose 10 more pounds. My husband has lost 15 pounds and is now at a plateau also. He has 25 pounds to go. Has anyone out there been able to get losing again after a plateau and if so, how?

Take a look at what you are eating and see if something isn't right. I had bought the velveeta light cheese and didn't lose anything for five days, upon discontinuing that, lost 1.5 pounds the next day. Check your salad dressings and cheese and watch how many of those nuts you are eating. Other then that, try a little more exercise and drink plenty of water.

Karen-

Also look where your at hight/weight wise. Sometimes we set our goal to low and no matter what our bodies will not cooperate. Your body might be saying its fine where its at.

Are you working out? Muscle weighs more than fat and if you exercise on a regular basis you could be losing fat but gainig muscle.

If you are not exercising....maybe that will help break the plateau.
