Started SBD for the first time yesterday.
I am a 30 yo mom to an adorable 13 mo
Weighed 173 prepregnancy.
Weighed 222 at birth
Weighed 186.5 as of starting SBD (and I had DH take my measurements, but I don't remember them off the top of my head)
Goal weight is 165- healthy and slim
Yesterday
B- V8 juice- not bad, like drinking tomato soup
2- veggie quiche cups- pretty good warmed up
Cinnamon stick herbal tea with 2 splendas

S- 20 peanuts
mozarella stick- I like string cheese

L- Large salad with 6 oz cooked chicken breast
2 tbsp dressing

S- tried celery with cheese- hate the celery just ate the cheese
jello

Got home from work and was hungry so had a SF fudgsicle- those are delicious

D- Rosemary salmon
steamed broccoli
large salad with feta cheese

D- Lemon zest ricotta- tastes good after blending with immersion blender

Took a 1/2 hour walk with DH and I pushed DS in the stroller. Was sweating at the end

When I woke up this morning I felt good and not really hungry. Slept very well last night. Maybe my imagination but the jeans are a little loser today. On to day two.

Sounds like you are right on track. I will say that there are different types of celery. I really like celery and the other day I got a batch that I just couldn't eat raw it was so bitter. I had to use it in cooking. Just wanted to let you know to not totally give up on celery.
Glad to hear that your first day went well. My hardest days were day 3 and 4. BUt after that it has been very easy to do.

Don't forget about the wonderful world of water weight. :(

Make sure you drink LOTS of water (or other sodium free, calorie free substitute).

Keep it up! When your baby is bigger, he can walk with you!

Anne-
Thanks for the reminder, I porbably should include that in my posts.
First two days it was 9 glasses of water each day, plus a mug of herbal tea each day.

Right now DS can walk with us, it just takes a long time to get anywhere :D

Well I had a three day weekend so I wasn't on the computer but I stayed on P1 all weekend with no cheating, and I have to say I had some delicous meals. Friday night for dinner we made a pan seared cod with a vegetable ragout (still not a big fan of cod though) Saturday I made the veggie chili from the SB cookbook and OH MY was that delicious. Last night we had panseared sole with tomato salad and DH flavored the sole with some lemon pepper, it was great.

So after 6 days on the plan I weighed in and I lost 4 pounds, down to 182.5. :D I was so excited that is the lowest I have been in about a year and a half. And I lost almost an inch in my chest and 2 inches around my waist( which I am not sure about since I think DH measured me in a different place this time)
So this is the last day of the first week, and the biggest improvement I have seen is the energy. I have soooo much more energy than I did before and it feels great. I am not dragging out of bed in the morning and I don't get that sleepy feeling after lunch.
YEAH and on to week 2
