I am going to start by saying hello to everyone and thank you for such a great support system. :D I am starting P1 today. Starting weight of 260 with a short term goal of 240 by July 24th (friend's wedding) and ultimate goal of 145. I will attempt to post everyday... see you then.

I really hope this gets easier. I thought going without carbs would be fine but man!!!! I did ok but was so hungry after breakfast and it wasn't until after dinner that I felt full. Unknowingly my sister started today to. She said basically the same thing. Is this normal? I am concerned for tomorrow as I work a double shift. I am taking sandwiches to work(in lettuce not bread) and cheese and veggies to snack on. Well check in tomorrow night with report. God Bless.

Dont forget you can have nuts too. I would say my first couple days ate more than I do now. The book says you shouldnt be hungry in P1 so eat more snacks till the sugar and things get out of your system. And in a few days you will notice such a difference. I really think most of us before we start SB have no idea how much we were eating before. I never even knew what feeling hungry was. Now I actually feel a real hunger and know its time to eat. Welcome to the beach, enjoy your new journey.

Aerie-- I was a little hungry until day 3 or 4 then I felt great. Another thing to remember is to drink water. Drinks with caffeine in them can also make you hungry. You weight was 260 lbs you should drink about 130 ounces of water a day. You will be suprised how much that will fill you up.
Keep up the good work. I have lost 24 pounds already. THis is a diet that works well if you can just get through the first days of Phase one. I am planning on going back to phase one in a couple of weeks so I can do it with my daughter who will be starting when school gets out.

I think it was a little easier today. I ate some nuts and had some jello. man that helped. Never would have known it was sugar free if I hadn't made it myself. I had a Black Bean soup that my sister made. She is also on SB. That worked wonderfully. I had it at noon time and wasn't hungry at all until dinner. Today I had to force myself to snack.. beating the old mind game that it wasn't ok to eat between meals. Thanks for all the word of encouragement. God Bless

It is going much easier.. although I realized yesterday more than ever I am an emotional eater. I must give one of my cats away due to an allergy and I am having a very hard time with it :( . All I wanted yesterday was a bowl of pasta or some bread. I didn't I had nuts... which is a good thing. Today I bring Butterscotch to is new home. I know if I can get through today on plan.. I can handle any obstacle. God Bless.
