I wanted to know the same thing. They are high in fiber and I sure do miss my cereal in the morning  ...I've had enough eggs and I'm only on 9.

Cereal would probably be ok, but no milk in Phase I.

You guys seriously need to read the book! Cereal is NOT okay in Phase 1 and that would become abundantly clear if you read the book. I highly recommend it so you understand the point of the diet. It also helps keep you motivated to follow it if you understand why grains and sugars are not allowed in phase 1

I do believe the subject of Nikaki's post is "Phase 2" so she was asking if Kashi was OK to eat during Phase 2 not Phase 1 as you imply Izzy. And on pg. 198 in Dr. Agatson's book it says that you are allowed to add back in certain cereals. Kashi is not on the list, but since it is made up of seven whole grains I would think that it would be allowed.
