hey there devon. thanks for your reply on my journal! yea, i'm really happy i got started with SB. i seriously used to be really small and cute, but now i feel chunky (but still cute!)...i dunno i just need a change and this 'lifestyle' change seems super healthy and well worth it.
i really want to get back to exercising too. i hope to incorporate some walking/running now that i have more time this summer; however, the texas heat is not too glamorous...there are some classes up at the rec center i should check out.
anyways, let's keep in touch, and i wish you the best of luck reaching your goal! how long did you stay in phase 1? |

| Well I have come to the realization that I need to drink MORE water in order to lose more weight. I hate water but I can drink loads of sf koolaid....love the punch flavor. Plus I need to work out MORE. Just wanted to post this and have it in writing so I can remind myself....although I intended to buy a water when I came in to work but after I put my money in machine saw that it was sold out :x so I was afraid I wouldnt get my money back and I pressed the diet coke button and got that. Now I know I have to bring in some water of sf koolaid or crystal light. Today wasnt too bad did very good as far as eating right. proud of myself for that. |

But did end up eating the tortilla :cry: that was food was wrapped up in and the cheese melted kept it stuck together so it would have been difficult to discard that. I did a "pizza wrap" last week at work. I layed out the ww tortilla in the mic, sprinkled some tomatoe slices, lf mozzarella, and turkey pepperoni and nuked it for 15 sec. Then I added sliced bell peppers and lettuce, then folded it up.
I packed all of the "toppings" in plastic baggies. |

Am having left overs today and for the next couple days for lunch it was so good and I made the sirloin tips for hubby and it really turned out better this time than last....cooked it a little longer than it says on lower heat and the meat was very tender. I wonder how long the lasanga will stay good in the fridge? My hubby has left over sirloing tips and mushrooms so hes got lunch for a few days also....will have to make more often. Feeling pretty good today. My meals so far
breakfast=kashi crunch in 1.5 c ff milk
snack=1oz string cheese
lunch=leftover mexican lasanga and sf jello
snack=yogurt and maybe some grapes
supper not sure yet
snack=no sugar added fudgesicle
Went to walmart on saturday and found a huge box of assorted no sugar added ice cream had some of each popsicle,creamsicles and the fudgesicles so I doubt Ill need some for awhile. And I finally found some laughing cow cheese....at our local giant grocery store but only found the bonbels and cubed cheese for crackers.......I bought the cubed so I could put on my ww ritz crackers. Tried this last night and it was very good. Found this recipe on kraftfoods.com is phase 2 and 3 friendly but not certain if phase 1 friendly. Its really good!
2 c ff milk
3 tbps pb ( I used natural pb)
1 pkg of sf/ff vanilla pudding mix
1 tsp water
1/4 c jam( I used sugar free)
put the pb in a bowl and add a little bit of milk then pour remaining
then add the pudding mix and then you stir for 2 mins
I put the jam in another bowl and added the water and mixed it up
then spoon in the pb mixture in a glass and then layer with the jam and keep layering. It was pretty good and helps the sweet tooth although Im sure its over the 75 cals so id limit to once a week or so. Note you may want to add another tablespoon of pb but it was good like I have as directed. |

| Welp so far today it has been good. Been sticking to my plan and I just finished my 20 oz bottle of water woohoo.....so far including my morning cystal light its about 34 oz of water today and its on noon time. Holy crap! as raymonds father would say (on everybody loves raymond. love that guy lol) But I walked in the bathroom and saw that Im starting to get cellulite in my upper arms YIKES!!! So scared! Already have enough of that stuff on my thighs....geez being a woman is hard work! Not fair! Have to really crack down on working out. So If you guys could review my meal plans and let me know if Im doing ok. My plan is do 2 laps of walking around neighborhood takes about 20 mins then do 15 to 20 mins of arm workout with dumbells. So if anyone would like to give me pointers I would surely appreciate it. Plus I used to workout regularly and developed great muscle tone in my arms so it could be that I stopped and havent worked out since. I am really thinking about joining a gym....anyone else go to gym.......maybe an all female gym not sure yet. I decided that on my last break Im going to march up and down the stairs a few times to get some exercise....I have a sit down job :x So I think I need to get moving! Also does anyone know if I dont want to work out in gym but just take a class like kickboxing for example wonder if I will still be charged a gym memebership(fee)? Or would they just charge for a class? New to all this....when I was working out regular I did it in my own home. Sorry so long. |
